- 12/08/2005 Update:
On this coming Saturday, Dec.10, 05, we are going to have a art show(by chinese artist DaoHui Guo) and book fair at Gym from 2-4:30pm.
Mr.Guo is a well known artist, he is famous by his brushing painting of plum blossom-orchid bamboo chrysanthemum. When he was in Boston, he participated in several art exhibitions including the Annual Beacon Hill Art Walk, he likes to say that "it is my wish that my art work will convey to every viewer the beauty of chinese painting".
The book fair has some Chinese children's books, bilingual (Chinese/English) books with Cd's and some other chinese cultural products.

All chinese language classes in Massachusetts chinese school start this coming Saturday, Sept.10th,2005 . We are looking forward to seeing everyone at school.

2005-2006 Fall semester Registration information
Fall semester School year 2005-2006 registration has started. Please go HERE to download the registration forms and mail them in with payment. You can also come to the next class and register there.
Starting 2005 Fall semester, we are going to add a new class(for children from non chinese speaking family) for beginners at 4:00pm(4:00pm to 4:30pm). The tuition for this class is $104/student/semester.
- 01/27/2005 Update:
Children Performing Arts Class
Starting 2005 Spring Semester, school will add one new class, Children performing arts class taught by teacher Lijia Chen.
Currently, teacher Chen teaches Head-Star music and dance classes in Sharon and Boston public school. She also teaches in Newton Chinese Language School, Boston Children Art Society.
Teacher Chen is extremely experienced. Her teaching goals for this class are teach students basis of music, art, performance and dance correlating and combing with their Chinese Language classes. The class contents include music, dance, stage performance, poems etc.
- 01/25/2005 Update:
As you may know that 2005 Chinese New Year is on Feb 9th. The school will have our chinese new year celebration party right here at Horace mann school Gym on Feb.5. Program runs from 2:00pm to 4pm. 2:00-3:00pm: Chinese arts and crafts; 3:00-4:00pm: performance by our students followed by chinese snack(Chinese style cake).
Please note, we won't have regular classes at that day, so 3:00pm class students also need to be at school at 2:00pm.
Most of the parents already completed the spring semester registrations (starting Feb.5) for them or their children. If you haven't registered, please do so as soon as you can. So, school can arrange classes for spring semester accordingly.
- 01/12/2005 Update:
To compensate cancelled school day last week due to heavy snow, we will have makeup school day on this coming Saturday, Jan 15, 2005. Please also pass on this notice to the people you know.
Also, please find the registration form for next semester and complete your registrations starting this coming Saturday.
- URGENT: January 8, Saturday Chinese School has been cancelled due to snow storm.

Dear All:
Our spring semester will start on Feb 5th, 2005. Therefore, school will open for spring registration on this coming school day, Jan 8th, 2005.
Please complete yours or your child's registrations at school as soon as possible.
